Everything that’s coming to CraveTV in November

CraveTV has a couple of titles coming in November.

Starting on Friday, November 3rd, new episodes of The Beaverton will stream on CraveTV after it premieres on The Comedy Network. New episodes from season 2 will continue to air every Friday.

The new Showtime comedy series, SMILF, which is about Bridgette Bird (Frankie Shaw), “a young, single mom from South Boston whose desires for relationships, sex, and a career collide with the realities of working-class single motherhood.” SMILF will air on Sundays starting November 5th at 10pm ET and run for eight episodes.

The 2o-episode drama series, The Knick by director Steven Soderbergh will be available for streaming on Friday, November 10th.

On November 12th at 10pm ET, is when Long Time Running, the documentary about the iconic Canadian band, The Tragically Hip on their final tour.

On November 13th at 10:30pm ET, the six-part comedy thriller, Ill Behaviour will begin streaming.

The Showtime documentary, George Michael: Freedom will be available for stream on Friday, November 24th. The film covers the span of Michael’s career but with an emphasis on his life leading up to his acclaimed and best-selling album, Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1.

HTC Vive now $799 in Canada

HTC has announced that they’re dropping the price of their Vive headset by $200, making $799 CAD ($599 USD), down from $1,149 CAD ($799 USD).This is likely in order to better compete with the Oculus Rift which also just recently dropped its price to $549 CAD ($399 USD).Each purchase of a Vive headset comes two base stations and two motion controllers along with a one-month free trial to their Viveport subscription, which allows users play up to five VR titles each month, you also get Google’s Tilt Brush app.“We know price is just one component of a purchase decision, but when you line up all that Vive offers, we’re building a complete VR ecosystem that customers can rely on today and for years to come,” HTC said in a statement.The HTC Vive is available from Amazon.ca, Microsoft Store and directly from HTC’s site.Source: HTC

Everything that’s coming to Netflix Canada in October

Things are about to get Stranger this October on Netflix Canada.October sees the premiere of the much-anticipated season 2 of Stranger Things but lets take a look at what else is coming this month. October 1st – 7th To start of the month, we have Black Mass, which stars Johnny Depp as Whitney Bulger, the infamous gangster. Also on the 1st, sees the release of Patriots Day which tells the story of a cop on the day of the Boston Marathon bombing.
