Amazon unveils the Echo Show

Amazon has officially unveiled the Echo Show, which is a touchscreen device with Alexa built-in. It can do everything that you love about the original Echo while also being able to show you things.

With the Echo Show, users can watch flash briefings, YouTube videos , see music lyrics, control smart home devices (or view people at your door with Ring video doorbell), look at photos and check the weather and add to items to to-do and shopping lists.

The actual Echo Show device has a 7-inch touchscreen, being powered by a Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor, support for dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, dual 2-inch speakers and a 5-megapixel camera. The Echo Show can also connect to the Echo Look camera.
