Disney sets release dates for Star Wars Episode IX, Indiana Jones 5 and more

Disney and Lucasfilm have announced releases dates for the third installment the Star Wars sequel trilogy  and the fifth chapter in the Indiana Jones series.

Star Wars: Episode IX is set for a May 24th, 2019 release date and will be directed by Colin Trevorrow. The next Indiana Jones is set for a July 10th, 2020 release date and Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford will be returning.

Disney also announced release dates for some of their other films, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 has been pushed back from March 9th, 2018 to November 21st, 2018.

Disney’s adaption of the 1963 novel, A Wrinkle in Time will be releasing on March 9th, 2018 and Mark Waters’ family comedy, Magic Camp, which stars Jeffrey Tambor, Gillian Jacobs and Adam DeVine will release on April 6th, 2018.

Also coming in 2018, is the untitled Han Solo spinoff film, on May 25th and is being directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

The Lion King live-action reboot will hit theatres on July 19th 2019 and is being directed by Jon Favreau. Frozen 2 will make its way to theatres on November 27th, 2019.

Disney also announced that they’re pushing back the release of Gigantic from November 21st 2018 to November 25th, 2020.

Things are about to get Stranger this October on Netflix Canada.October sees the premiere of the much-anticipated season 2 of Stranger Things but lets take a look at what else is coming this month. Everything that’s coming to CraveTV in November

CraveTV has a couple of titles coming in November.Starting on Friday, November 3rd, new episodes of The Beaverton will stream on CraveTV after it premieres on The Comedy Network. New episodes from season 2 will continue to air every Friday.The new Showtime comedy series, SMILF, which is about Bridgette Bird (Frankie Shaw), “a young, single mom from South Boston whose desires for relationships, sex, and a career collide with the realities of working-class single motherhood.” SMILF will air on Sundays starting November 5th at 10pm ET and run for eight episodes.
