Xiaomi announces the Redmi Note 4

Xiaomi has unveiled the successor to the Redmi Note 3 (which is only about six months old), with the aptly named Redmi Note 4 . The new phone still has a 5.5-inch 1080p display but now there’s 2.5D glass on the front and a metal unibody design with chamfered edges.

Inside, you’ll find a MediaTek Helio X20 processor which is clocked at speeds up to 2.1GHz. Xiaomi says the fingerprint sensor is “ultra-fast”. There is also dual SIM slots (which if you aren’t using a second SIM, you can put in a microSD card instead and the Redmi Note 4 supports up to a 128GB microSD)

The battery on the Redmi Note 4 is 4,100 mAh, which easily last all day. The Redmi Note 4 has a microUSB port instead of a USB Type-C port like on the Xiaomi Mi 5 from earlier this year.
