This year, Bethesda held their second E3 showcase and they had some pretty exciting announcements including some new gameplay as wells as the return of some old favourites.
In case you missed the livestream, you’ll find it below:
Dishonored 2 was announced at Bethesda’s E3 2015 showcase but this year, Arkane Studios showed off some new gameplay footage.
Caution the description for Dishonored 2 may reveal minor spoilers for the first game.
Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the first game. Lord Regent has been vanquished and the Rat Plague is gone. The throne has been taken over by Emily Kaldwin, which leaves the fate of the Isle in better hands.
You can now play as either as Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano and you’ll travel from the streets of Dunwall (which was in the first game) to the new setting for the game, Karnaca.
Karanca was once a dazzling coastal city that holds the key to help bring Emily to power. You’ll be armed with the mark of the Outsider and have powerful new ability to use against your enemies.
Dishonored 2 will be available worldwide on November 11th 2016 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Bethesda announced the return of id Software’s Classic Shooter franchise with Quake Champions. The game is a competitive arena-style first-person shooter for the PC that will return fans to the frenetic, skill-based competition that made Quake an industry legend and solidified it as one of the first major eSports games.
