LG G4: Everything you need to know

LG has announced their newest flagship the G4. It has a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen. That means it has a resolution of 2560 by 1440 and 538 PPI.

It is being powered by Snapdragon 808 processor which LG says is specifically tuned for the G4. It will also have 3GB of RAM to help power it.

In terms of storage, the G4 comes with 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB (And yes, your eyes aren’t deceiving you, it actually supports a 2TB microSD card, even though none exist, yet). You can take great photos with the 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS 2.0. The front camera is 8 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture.

The G4 also features a 3,000 mAh battery that is also removable. Unfortunately the G4 doesnt support wireless charging out of the box, LG says they will release a back plate that will support it when the G4 launches.

It supports 4G LTE, HSPA+. Has Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC and  support for USB 2.0.

The G4 will come in many colours. For the standard backplate: Metallic Gray, Ceramic White, Shiny Gold. While the leather option comes in Black, Brown, Red, Sky Blue, Beige and Yellow.

The LG G4 will be available in Canada, sometime in June.
